Why would someone deliberately post/say something SO incredibly hurtful to someone? I know that on the internet a lot of people suddenly develop the bollocks to say something that they would NEVER say in person but shouldn't that be part of a normal person's internal filter? Shouldn't you ask yourself before posting "Would I actually say this to the person's face?"

Steroid shots and baby bedding
Anyone had steroid shots before to help baby's lungs develop? I'm 28 weeks and had my first round today (well the first shot, shot two will be tomorrow) and my goodness my hip/back hurts!!! You know more than usual lol
On a happier note, Lily's baby bedding arrived yesterday!!! It was a Christmas present from her uncle and we LOVE it!!! The only thing we're missing is the quilt (I want to hang it up for decoration until she's old enough to use it) and the throw pillow.

Hayley Nursery Bedding Set
All I need to do is make the decorations for her room and swap it out with David's stuff (he's getting a big boy room) and we'll be all set! I know she won't be in the nursery at first so we do have time, but I'm still getting excited!

CSN Stores - Tease and Swings!
Since I'm 7 months pregnant and on bedrest for the past 6 weeks, I've been spending a lot of time online shopping, mainly at CSN stores. It's been a very cold winter and we have a very active little boy so I find myself gravitating to outdoor play items like swingsets. I can't imagine how excited he would be if he got something like this for his birthday this spring!!

LONG Overdue Review!
I had the opportunity to review another product from CSN Stores and I chose the KidCo Center Gateway Pressure Mount Safety Gate in White and it is exactly what we were looking for!
Now one reason that this review has taken long than normal is (not only because of the pregnancy complications) but because of some shipping and delivery issues. This was in NO way CSN's fault!! When I e-mailed them to let them know that the first gate arrived damaged in an open box and was missing parts they were quick to fix it! The customer service was absolutely fantastic! A replacement gate was on the way before I knew it! This just confirms for me what a wonderful company they really are!
The gate itself is fantastic. The quality is great and it makes life SO much easier! We use the stairs all the time so our old gate (which was about 20 years old and falling apart) just wasn't cutting it. This gate pressure mounts to the wall and spindles (with an additional spindle gate mount pack) and is super secure! The best part is that all we have to do is open the door and walk through to go upstairs. No removing the gate or trying to step over it anymore.
I do want to apologize to CSN Stores for taking so long to complete this review and once again thank them for excellent customer service!

Forever
I know it's been forever since I blogged. I've been having some pregnancy complications so I haven't been on the computer much recently. Now that I'm stuck on bedrest for a while I might actually be on more often, I hope! So far, I'm not a fan of bedrest. Sure relaxing is nice, but I don't like being forced to relaxed when there's stuff I need to do around here. Our Christmas decorations are still up, the house is a mess, laundry needs to be done. Thankfully my in-laws are coming tomorrow, but I'd like for the house to be at least semi-clean before they get here but I know they won't mind and they understand that it's not going to be perfect. I really hope I don't have to be on bedrest for long, I think I'll go crazy if I do!

AMMO Winter Kids Releases Review
David is a serious little reader already. Even though he's only 17 months old he usually prefers for Mommy or Daddy to read him a book to anything else! It's not unusual for him to grab book after book off "his" bookshelf and bring them over to one of us to read to him. Now he's getting to the point where he'll just sit down with a book and "read" to himself (which is my favorite, so cute!).
When we received the latest book from AMMO, ABC IS FOR CIRCUS by Patrick Hruby, David was so excited! It's full of bright colors, fun illustrations, and it's also educational! He just sat there for a while pointing at the pictures saying "Ooooo" over and over again!
Here's a brief description from their site:

We also received the Charley Harper Nesting Blocks and I had NO idea how much David would love them! As soon as I pulled them out of the box, he started clapping. Then I sat on the floor and stacked them up, of course he immediately knocked them over and was VERY proud of himself! Then he started trying to nest them back all by himself and actually did a pretty good job. I can already tell this set of Nesting Blocks is becoming a fast favorite.
The only thing that concerns me is if he discovers the areas on the corners where the paper comes together, he loves to rip things, but hopefully he won't figure that he could probably peel the paper off the boxes fairly easily ;)
These are super cute blocks and I love that they are covered in letters, numbers and words so David can learn as he plays!
