Teething has been interesting with David. He is a teething machine! Apparently he didn't take note of any of the eruption charts in the doctors office or on the internet because once his teeth started coming in they never stopped! At 15 months old he is just lacking two upper teeth and those nasty two year molars.
I have seen the
Inspired by Finn teething necklaces for a few months and I'm not sure why I didn't order one right away. I'm SOOO glad I finally decided to contact them! When I got the chance to review a product and do a giveaway I jumped at the chance!
It was so hard to decide which necklace to get. I finally decided on the Honey Round and LOVE it! Not only is it beautiful, but it's masculine enough that it looks just fine on our little boy. I have to admit, hubby was and still is a little skeptical about the Baltic amber necklace, but I think that's only because he's not around David all day long since he's at work. I have noticed such a difference this week since he started wearing it! He has two teeth coming in right now and since we got the necklace I haven't had to resort to using orajel or give him any sort of pain reliever. He's acting just like he does when he's not teething! It's really amazing!
(The necklace is usually tucked into his shirt so this is one of the only pictures where you can see it)
Here's some information straight from the Inspired by Finn website on the benefits of Baltic Amber:
Historically, Baltic Amber has been used in Europe as a natural and traditional remedy and curative for many ailments for centuries. Long ago it was considered one of the leading ‘medicines’ of its time. Baltic Amber is the most esteemed amber in the world, and the healing qualities of Baltic Amber make it unlike any other type of amber found in the world.
When baltic amber is worn on the skin, the skin’s warmth releases trace amounts of healing oils from the amber. These oils contain succinic acid and are absorbed into the skin.
Baltic Amber has some of the highest concentrations of Succinic Acid found in nature, and this is what makes it so special. Succinic Acid is a natural component of plant and animal tissues, and it's presence in the human body is beneficial in many ways.
